Trying to find modest dresses in summer can be very difficult. Especially while living in a western country.
Don’t get me wrong, there are many ‘hijab-friendly’ stores scattered around, but honestly who wants to dress the same as everybody else because the niche is so small?
I love dressing up, especially with pieces I know I spent hours searching for online. I’m that girl that’s always online shopping, looking for what’s new and has already come out in the ‘fashion forward’ countries.
Living in Australia, our fashion arrives a little late considering how far we live from everybody else, and the contrast in seasons. By the time the US or European countries have released the Summer/Spring Collection, were still wearing last seasons Fall/Winter collection. You get the drift.
Point being, spending that extra time online to find outfits you know would be rare for somebody else to be wearing is worth your while.
