Pastel, flowers, red and all things pretty.
We are around the corner from welcoming spring here in Australia. Which means it's time to change the cool season outfits into the warmer ones.
With flowers painting the streets, sun drying up the rain, and that cool breeze inviting us to the warmer side, our style evolves complimenting the nature surrounding us. My favourite part in any season is the outfit changes and dressing up for every occasion. Kind of how Blake Lively dresses up for every theme of her premiers, events, etc. She's such a doll! Literally obsessed with her style and how she compliments every single event without fail.
With inspiration drawn from Blake Lively, Blaire Waldorf, Grace Kelly and Pinterests 'Old Money Style', I've curated 5 modest old money style hijabi spring outfit ideas you girls will love! Whether you're attending an engagement party, lunch at the botanics, high tea or some shopping in the city, these outfits will keep you looking as stylish as ever!
1. Shopping Hijab Spring Outfit Idea
This ensemble consists of a two-piece lace set from Karen Millen, styled with a Belle & Bloom cream belt. A coach blazer to throw on top paired with the Gucci Horse-bit 1955 Top Handle Handbag. Tony Bianco nude patent flats to ensure comfort yet remaining very chic. Hijab in mocha and finish the outfit with a red lip to tie the look together, and you have yourself a more 'casual' spring outfit idea. Perfect for a day out shopping, lunch with some friends or even running errands!
2. High-Tea Hijab Spring Outfit Idea
A dreamy silhouette by MOS The Label, with delicate lace embroidery on the sleeves. The detail on this dress is effortlessly timeless. It's beautiful butter yellow tone is complimented perfectly with the gold buttons adorning the centre of the dress. Pair this gorgeous spring outfit with white Tony Bianco pumps and a Celine handbag. Finish with a similar shade hijab and of course your favourite fragrance. Don't forget to wear a body top and leggings underneath. The ModSquad range in Buttercream is on sale now if you guys want to grab them before they're gone.
3. Lunch Hijab Spring Outfit
What's better than spending an entire season obsessing over florals? A maxi dress with floral embellishments! This gorgeous dress from Karen Millen is screaming to be worn this spring! Elevate the look with the Lilysilk blouse, red pumps and an off-white handbag! Complete the look with red lipstick to compliment the heels, and voila. A look you'd be flaunting while having lunch in Coogee with your friends! If red is a bit much for you, you can swap them out for white to neutralise the look and tone down the lipstick the a neutral shade. Works well either way.
4. Wedding Guest Hijab Spring Outfit Idea
As the year comes to an end, wedding season begins! I've heard of too many people needing to get ready for engagement parties or weddings and don't know what to wear! Well... option 1. I will be posting a separate post on a more detailed version of wedding guest outfits, HOWEVER, how beautiful is this dress from Self Portrait? From the colour to the style to the detail. I am in awe! I've styled this piece with a pair of Jimmy Choo's (of course) and a Manolo Blahnik clutch. Keep things timeless. You want to be able to wear this outfit seasons on end. Ya feel me. Pair it with a hijab similar colour to the rhinestones and finish with your favourite perfume. I've added Amouage, because it's divine and perfect for a night out. You're welcome. 😉
5. Date Night Hijab Spring Outfit
Who doesn't love spending time with their best friend! Dressing up has to be the best part! IFYKYK. This outfit is one of my faves! You definitely don't only have to wear it for date night. You can wear it a ballet show, horse racing, day lunch, engagement party, etc. Depends on the vibe. The elegant polka dot dress from Self Portrait pairs perfectly with a black Lilysilk blouse, and black hijab. Red compliments the outfit giving it an extra layer of glam and of course gold jewellery. This is just how I've styled it, but feel free to pair with any colour you feel comfortable in.
