Denim, the democracy of fashion...

I'm sure you've heard that somewhere. If not, you heard it here first ;).

A timeless capsule in EVERY wardrobe. The one piece of clothing in your wardrobe that you can never throw out. Be it a dress, skirt, jeans, jacket, whatever it is. If it's a classic denim piece, it's staying. What's even better is it's been deemed worthy enough to continue into the spring collection in 2025. The epitome of style.

Building capsule wardrobes is all about selecting items that'll stay in your wardrobe, seasons on end. Denim is the easier choice amongst many options that you know you can always count on.

Below, I've styled 5 timeless denim outfits any hijabi or modest girl can add to her wardrobe.

1. Denim Outfits: Maxi Dress

A casual denim outfit idea, one you can easily throw on without adding any extra layers. The great thing about denim is it's versatility and comfort. Spring is the transition season from winter to summer, so wearing an all denim long sleeve maxi dress is great for keeping you cool as well as preventing any cooler winds from giving you a chill. Neutral tones are always a classic option if you are opting for a timeless look. Otherwise feel free to add a pop of colour.

2. Denim Outfits: Sleeveless Dress

Although true denim is known to be a blue colour, they tend to come in an array of colours. Here, I've styled a white sleeveless maxi dress with a navy long sleeve pussy-bow blouse. A beige handbag ties the colours together, along with ivory patent flats to keep it elegant and classic. Keep accessories minimal and gold.

3. Denim Outfits: Vest

An all white outfit with a denim vest thrown on top. Pair with linen ballet flats and a classic Gucci handbag. You've got yourself this timeless ensemble, perfect for your next shopping trip, day lunch or even cafe hopping. The denim vest is a statement to the outfit, accentuating your waist slightly while keeping a modest look.

4. Denim Outfits: Maxi skirt

Dress it up or down, a denim maxi skirt outfit is incredibly versatile. Whether paired with a cardigan or an oxford blouse, this classic look will save you on those days when you "have nothing to wear." Here, I've paired it with black and tan accents, adding a touch of leopard for a seamless blend of tones. A khaki scarf pulls the entire look together perfectly.

5. Denim Outfits: Coord

This chic denim coord hijab outfit exudes effortless style, paired with a light beige hijab for a soft contrast. The outfit is complemented by beige patent heels and a sleek Gucci top-handle bag, adding a touch of luxury. Gold accents, including a delicate necklace and a floral gold ring, complete the look with a hint of elegance. Perfect for a day out or an elevated casual look.
