Add to cart...
My favourite thing to do. Add to cart. And when you can without the struggle, that's what you call a level up.
But since we're shopping for Eid, honey you MUST be adding to that cart. My advice for all the ladies who live in the same community, if you buy an outfit from the hijabi store, I will guarantee you 3/4 of that community will be wearing the same outfit. Word.
Unless you want to be part of that 3/4 community, then you might want to take my advice. This is also why I'm posting this one month in advance before Eid. So you have PLENTY of time to get your orders in.
I personally don't enjoy wearing the same thing as others. Not for any personal reason, I just like being different. In whatever way that word is translated. I enjoy being the only person wearing a specific outfit. Mainly because I'm not one to follow a trend. And also, I believe I have enough style to be able to set that trend, rather than follow it. You know what I'm sayen...?
Therefore, I've sifted through the internet - high and low - to find you girls the best stores you MUST shop from for your Eid outfits. Well not must, but once you take a look, you'll want to regardless of what I say.
Without further ado, below are my top 8 stores that I believe will tickle your fancy for your next Eid outfit.

Where can I buy good quality dresses online?
Online shopping can be a little daunting for some, particularly those who don't often purchase clothes online. I've had conversations back and forth with so many people about buying clothes online and how much better it is. I do believe a large influence that repels some from making any purchases is due to their mindset of believing they won't get what they see.
Now, although this may be true in some areas, if one knows where they're looking and are on a trusted website, they may just surprise themselves.
Generally when finding a legitimate clothing website, I tend to look at their social media. If they have a large following with consistent engagement, it shows they have a genuine product. Furthermore, I read more about the brand and look for reviews if there is anything 'scammy' about the website. Most of the times, I would've found a brand on Instagram and redirected to the website knowing it's reliability.
As for quality, always look at the item description and what material is used for the garment. A lot of the times, polyester is commonly used as it is a cheaper alternative. This depicts a lesser quality item, thus looking for natural materials is always key in ensuring you buy good quality dresses or clothing in general.
The websites I've suggested above are only some of the many online. I do believe it is up to the individual themselves to do their own research and find their niche style if some don't resonate with them.
What clothing is worn in Eid?
There is no strict guideline with what one should wear in Eid. So long as it is by the Islamic guidelines of wearing something special or new. Nonetheless, I like to base my outfits around the season and the time of year Eid falls upon. Sometimes I want to wear maxi dresses, others I'm opting for blazers and maxi skirts.
Regardless of what you choose to wear, ensure it is an outfit that suits your style and what you prefer. If you're someone who doesn't have a specific style, go on Pinterest and take a look at hijabi fashion. Observe what outfits you tend to lean towards and love and try replicating that with your outfits.
Although there's no specific 'category' one should wear, they're usually labelled under different names to niche down the style. Overall, Eid outfits should make you feel your best and most confident. If it isn't doing that for you, don't wear it. At the end of the day, it's about what makes you feel your best. That's how you should define what clothing to wear during Eid.
